Product Description
Flexible Rogowski coil current sensors are used for the accurate measurement of alternating currents and provide electrical isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. Thanks to a precision winding process, they significantly reduce positional errors of the conductor being measured within the coil aperture, thereby enhancing the flexible Rogowski coil’s immunity to external magnetic field interference.
Characteristics
● The performance of the flexible Rogowski coil complies with the GB/T 20840.10-2025 standard.
● Transformation ratio: 250 A / 235.7 mV.
● The integrator is equipped with a shielding layer, effectively reducing common-mode interference on small signals.
● 100% conductive fabric shielding for the coil, aluminum foil, and braided copper wire—double-shielded signal cable, 100%.
● Protection rating: IP68.
Advantages
● Easy to install in applications with limited space.
● Excellent measurement accuracy, with a fixed-position accuracy class of 0.5.
● It does not saturate under overcurrent or short-circuit conditions.
● Possesses exceptionally strong electromagnetic interference immunity.
Application
● Power protection, control, and monitoring applications:
Monitoring of the protection system for medium- and high-voltage switchgear.
Monitoring of motor overload and short-circuit protection.
Monitoring of ground faults in large, complex conductors.
Arc fault current monitoring (arc flash protection).
Power fault indicator, transmission line fault locator, and traveling-wave distance measurement.
● Power Quality Analysis and Governance Monitoring Scenario:
Power grid harmonic monitoring.
Active filter sampling.
● Specialized industrial current monitoring applications:
Measurement of secondary-side current in calcium carbide furnaces and electric furnace transformers.
Current measurement for power-frequency and intermediate-frequency welding machines.
● High‑transient pulse current measurement:
Capacitor discharge.
Lightning current detection.
● High-voltage insulation condition monitoring:
Insulator leakage current measurement.
● Power electronics device measurement:
Rectifier current measurement.
● Applications on high-speed railways are primarily concentrated in the following two key areas:
Real-time monitoring and protection of the traction converter and the power circuit.
Precision protection for the auxiliary power supply system.
● Charging Pile Sector:
Real-time power monitoring and flexible control: accurately measure the charging station’s real-time current and power, and upload the data to the control platform.
The upgrade and retrofit of aging charging piles, as a critical measurement component, are integrated into the renovation plan alongside devices such as rail-mounted meters and concentrators.
Enables precise billing and charging control, prevents overcharging and deep discharging, and ensures battery safety and charging efficiency.
