Recently, the kick-off meeting for the preparation of the Calibration Specification for Rogowski Coil Sensors Used in Measurement, organized by the National Technical Committee on Electromagnetic Metrology, was successfully held at Ningbo Taifengyuan Electric Co., Ltd.

The national metrological technical specification drafting working group has been officially established. Industry experts gathered together, joined by Yuan Guojun, Chairman of Ningbo Taifengyuan Electric Co., Ltd., and Ma Xianhua, Project Manager of Rogowski Coils, to jointly attend the meeting and officially launch the standard-drafting work in the field of Rogowski coil sensor calibration.
The meeting focused on introducing the proposed content of the specification, discussing the preliminary framework of the draft, clarifying the key priorities for subsequent drafting work, and assigning responsibilities and tasks to each member unit — all aimed at establishing a unified and authoritative metrological calibration basis for Rogowski coil sensors.

As a core current sensing component in the fields of power digitalization, energy storage, and industrial measurement, the Rogowski coil stands at the heart of modern electrical systems. The advancement of this standard will fill the existing gap in industry calibration specifications and drive the standardized improvement of domestic Rogowski coil products in terms of metrological performance.
As the host organization of this kick-off meeting, Ningbo Taifengyuan Electric has been deeply involved in standard development and will continue to focus on current sensing technology, contributing to the high-quality development of the industry.
