I. Product Overview
High-voltage dielectric loss factor standards are widely used as insulation testing instruments for electrical equipment. Nowadays, experiments using high-voltage bridges for testing are also increasing. Often after the experiment, many operators are suspicious of the test results. This situation may be caused by measurement errors, including bridge failures, or problems with wiring and standard capacitors; but it may also reflect the actual value. At this time, it is often impossible to immediately send the bridge to the pilot plant for verification. Therefore, in view of this situation, and based on the characteristic that high-voltage capacitance bridges mainly have high requirements for the measurement of dielectric loss, this "dielectric loss factor standard" (hereinafter referred to as the standard dielectric loss instrument) has been designed. The standard dielectric loss instrument can be used for general testing on a regular basis, or it can be sent to the pilot plant for verification, and its latest value can be recorded at any time for future use. In case of doubt about the experimental results, this standard instrument can be used as a test sample for testing, and the results can be compared with its previous values to determine whether the data deviation is due to the bridge or other reasons. Due to the high stability and high accuracy (absolute value) of this standard instrument, it is a very convenient standard device for both laboratory and field work.
